So Many Rules: Ollie Wheeler has written a very thought-provoking book for young children that is culturally sensitive and speaks to adults. The main character shares the author’s name, and the story is lively, humorous, and poetic. The book is about a little boy named Ollie who decides, one day, to stop following rules. He encounters many problems with his decision. “So Many Rules” is a book every early childhood school/pre-school and childcare center’s library and classroom must carry.
So Many Rules: This is another excellent book for the classroom and the home library. It shows the reader the importance of rules and why we should follow them. This was another great book by Dr. Ollie!
Caleb's Smile: I fell in love with this book the first time I read it to my son. There's a message not only for the young readers but also for the parents. My son absolutely loves this book. It was beautifully written and illustrated.
Message: Value your differences and the differences of others.
Caleb's Smile: This book is superb. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and its powerful and profound message expressed in a kid-friendly way. The author teaches kids to take pride in who they are and to appreciate the differences of others. By far, this is my favorite children's book.
Lies Don't Fly: Because my son often wants to walk in the shoes of his favorite characters, I find books to be incredible tools when teaching him life lessons. The main character Ollie has genuinely captured my son's attention. His love for the character and captivating story teaches him the importance of being honest and loyal. My son now explains to me the importance of being an honest person and practicing what he has learned. This book is a must-read for children.
Lies Don't Fly: Beautifully well-written and illustrated! Love the message.
